Perfectly placed in a beautiful village, our Grade 2 listed building is the perfect place from which to explore the captivating county of Sussex. Home to 8 stunning bedrooms, The Lamb at Angmering offers luxury accommodation in West Sussex, blending both style and comfort. This, along with attentive service from our team, makes for an enchanting stay every time.
Each of our rooms are named after a previous landlord, to pay homage to the people who have ensured this pub’s place not only in Angmering’s history, but in part to it’s future, too. The pages below detail each room’s features, and tell you a little bit about their namesake.
We stayed at the hotel for one night in a very nice room - booked for dinner which was lovely to a high standard with pleasant efficient service which was repeated for breakfast.
We had dinner which was lovely - friendly staff, beautiful ambiance and delicious food and then stayed the night. The room was tastefully decorated, had a real fireplace, a lovely new bathroom and comfortable beds. There was even a smart TV. I would stay here again in a shot.
We were visiting Angmering for a wedding reception and stayed at the Lamb. We had the twin room which was very large - ideal for x2 girls getting ready for a wedding! Whole room was beautifully presented and the beds were ridiculously comfortable - slept amazingly.
Very good food, including breakfast. Menu including wine very reasonably priced, and excellent quality. Staff friendly and welcoming and the room was sympathetically furnished and decorated, in keeping with the old building but with some modern flourishes
We had a two night stay at the Lamb and were continually impressed by the service and the surroundings. Fabulous staff made us feel very welcome and they couldn't do enough for us. The room was lovely; well-appointed and tastefully-decorated. We had a lovely meal in the pub and the breakfast was great too. We will definitely be back.
I travel the world quite a lot and stay in very expensive places, and I must say that the Lamb is right up there with them..perfectly appointed room..great sleep and very private. I don't come to the UK much these days, and my only regret was that I couldn't stay longer...I'll come for a week or two next time!
The inn, pub + restaurant are all lovely -so cosy and beautifully appointed. The staff is equally lovely, they immediately made us feel welcome and we had a wonderful stay.
The staff were excellent and from check in, through to the meal, breakfast and checkout were faultless.
Arriving on a winters day to a warm reception from both the staff and the log fire in the bar/reception. Both the manager and his team were always friendly and also on the ball to respond to any request. Changing our room and meal time was adressed with the constant reassurance that it was no problem. The room was spacious and a quiet haven to return to after the marvellous meal, followed by a drink in the bar chatting with the locals. Breakfast was freshly cooked and good ingredients (nice thick-cut bacon) with a choice of full English, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and eggs Benedict, among other things. We look forward to staying again.
